Iceland Offbeat is committed to reducing its carbon footprint and endeavors to reduce the amount our teams travel as much as possible by:

This means that we prefer partners that have a written sustainability statement as an integral part of their business policy and/or a clear sustainability policy in place.

Iceland Offbeat prefers to work with suppliers in Iceland that are locally owned or managed, use local and seasonal products and services and benefit the local community by hiring locally and equitably and by providing fair working conditions.

In the entire process of developing and operating our travel packages, Iceland Offbeat expects partner agencies to act in the best interests of the surrounding communities and environment as well as our guests.

All Iceland Offbeat trips are designed to minimize carbon emissions by optimizing travel options based on Iceland's unique topography. We prioritize ground transportation using hybrid vehicles whenever possible and strive to avoid in-destination flights whenever feasible. Additionally, we partner exclusively with well-established and responsible providers.

At Iceland Offbeat, we are committed to offering high-quality accommodations to our travelers while ensuring these accommodations align with sustainable practices. Most of our accommodations are small, family-run businesses owned by locals who actively contribute to the positive development of their communities.
