A fascinating tour to the dormant Thrihnukagigur Volcano where you descend into the magma chamber in an open cable lift. The inside of the crater is huge with colourful rock formations.

The volcano last erupted over 4,000 years ago. and there are no indications of it erupting again in the near future. The volcano’s name, can be directly translated as ‘Three Peaks Crater’, one of which you will be descending into.
